Two years of operation and maintenance of the North Gaza Wastewater Treatment Plant and its infiltration basins for the Palestinian Water Authority, by the joint venture of Termomeccanica Ecologia S.p.A. (Italy) and MACC, starting on completion of the plant in March 2018. Contract value US$6,621,526.

  • Operation of the full treatment process up to the nominal 35,600 m³/day: inlet works, activated sludge with nitrogen removal, digesters, dewatering and biogas energy recovery
  • Operation of the nine infiltration basins and effluent quality monitoring
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and SCADA equipment
  • Training and capacity building of CMWU staff to take over the plant
