In light of the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip and the increasing number of displaced families in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, there is an urgent need to provide safe and clean water sources to serve both residents and displaced communities.
In response to this pressing necessity, the “Excavation and Installation of HDPE 315 mm Polyethylene Water Pipeline” project has been proposed as a vital intervention.
The project aims to execute excavation works and install HDPE pipeline extending from the desalination plant located in Rafah, Egypt to the Al-Mawasi area with total length 6,765 meters.
Additionally, several water distribution points equipped with water tanks and filling stations will be installed to ensure displaced families have reliable access to clean water for their daily needs.
This project is generously funded by “Operation Gallant Knight-3”, reflecting the solidarity and humanitarian commitment of our brothers in standing alongside the Palestinian people during these difficult times.
The initiative seeks to enhance water security, improve living conditions for displaced families, and alleviate their daily struggles in accessing safe water.
